Hall of Shame

Maddy Hicks released “Hall of Shame” in November of 2024 with Overall Recordings.

Maddy wrote this song with JT Foley, Boy Bennett, & Alec Zeilon in the summer of 2023. It was produced by Alec Zeilon & Boy Bennett, and mixed by Pedro Calloni.

“I was in the first real, good relationship of my life, and my exes were nowhere on my mind. They were, however, in my Uber, outside the deli, walking down Broadway, and seemingly everywhere I looked. Was I losing my mind? Was I being warned that this great guy was about to join the Hall of Shame? I didn’t wanna know, and I didn’t wanna find out. So I wrote this song to ward them off with co-producers Boy Bennett and Alec Zeilon, and co-writer JT Foley who I also wrote some of my favorite prior singles ‘Picture You Naked’ and ‘All Mine’ with. I love how this song came out, and it’s just in time for spooky season. Because after all, what is scarier than running into your ex?”
